The first child has died as a result of the Russian missile attack on the #Okhmatdyt hospital, said Ukraine’s health minister.

The boy was in the intensive care unit during the attack; he was later transported to another hospital where he died.

For the first two days after the attack, Ukrainians gathered around $7 million to rebuild #Okhmatdyt children's hospital.

Large companies such as Monobank, #McDonald's and Nova Poshta also donated to the medical center.

The biggest single donation was nearly $500,000.

Ihor said that all employees are regularly trained on how to act in most emergencies, but it was impossible to prepare for the Russian attack.
