I wasn’t talking about denying access, but about understanding. People with little or no experience of country life do not always grasp why it is important to close gates; dog owners believe they have a god-given right to let their dog off the leash in the country - trust me on that, I’ve tried to reason with them often.

That’s a harsh conclusion to reach! People have literally moved away from the countryside, and many have no clue about how things work. Right to roam comes with a responsibility to care for farmed animals and respect those who make their living on the land, many of whom struggle to make a living.

I much prefer the flat design. You don’t need to decipher it more than once. It’s ok to ask a user to learn something new. It does not always have to be “intuitive “, which when you think about it, just means making a guess.

It's not hard, or work. Leave Twitter or stay, that's fine. What irritates me is people who join Mastodon, say how "nice" it is here, then still keep on moaning about Twitter. It's like listening to someone talking about how bad their ex is. ?♀️

Don't just complain, DO something:
1. Stick to the "Following" feed.
2. Block all pro-Russia propaganda accounts
3. Inform "@Official_Nafo" of all pro-Russia propaganda accounts accounts
4. Block every ad that appears in your timeline.
5. Tell advertisers why you blocked them
6. Block Elon Musk
