The thing with Mastodon that many people aren't used to wrapping their heads around anymore is that you can build your own "small web" community around at topic you care about. You could call these communities echo chambers if you like. At least we decide what we see.

You can take @evan's comment to heart and go create your own Mastodon instance dedicated to AI. That's fine! You can have your friends there and uninterested people can just ignore it.

I'm going to write all my Rust in GPL3 because we need to unfuck free software licensing a little bit. Not that anything I ever write will matter in court but the more we MIT the more we get left behind.

@gemlog Fair. I tried streaming some software hacking once. Was embarrassingly incapable of talking at the same time. Conversely, for the brief moment I streamed some Pokemon stuff, it was too easy to talk. This might be why relaxed activities are easier to stream and interact with.

@gemlog they can! Wherever they don't automatically you can use `wl-copy`

@gemlog wsl2 comes with wslg, which is a Wayland first approach. Fedora 43 is Wayland only and it seems to gel.
