Because US democracy is on a knife edge, I compared it to a patient in the ICU with sepsis. I compared protests to antibiotics, the only way to try to save the patient.

I noted that the first dose of antibiotics can in some cases make the patient's vitals even more unstable.

These are the Piedmont Raging Grannies. They're a comedy musical protest group based in Greensboro NC. They get enough attention Jesse Watters denigrated them on Fox News!

As you can see, they dress in a comedy version of traditional Appalachian dress. They are white grandmothers wearing the clothes of their heritage.

Nobody told them to stop being so white Appalachian after the Fox News fiasco.

Americans have had 250 years of VERY uneven democracy, but democracy. We are not going to tolerate a fascist police state. Stephen Miller's wet dream is shared by very few in this country, as we have seen with MAGAs crying "This isn't what we voted for."

I don't know how ugly this gets, but I do know Americans are not going to put up with what we saw in LA nationwide.
