Oh my, I just saw a Dem influencer in Dallas saying he's undercover as a male escort outside the #GOP convention. He's going on Grindr and other apps to expose anti-LGBT #MAGA #Republicans who use those apps. He says he'll be putting any results on his Youtube channel and if we don't hear from him, he's either dead or threatened into silence.

I guess I won't be posting his username here unless I start to see videos. We'll see what happens! Hope he'll be okay as these are violent people.

Protest Thread #125: Happy birthday to ICE Watch!

Not exactly the kind of birthday party you want to have to celebrate, but here we are. And in reality, we've made an enormous amount of progress limiting kidnappings in the last year, so we had an ICE watch picket on (roughly) the anniversary of when we first started doing that outside the ICE field office. Since then, we've expanded our operations to multiple locations, aided God knows how many immigrant families...

...and made some of the country's biggest losers crap their pants, even though we are some of the most harmless people in our city.

Several dozen of us gathered for a picket on the sidewalk and did the usual protest chants. The County Sheriff was present but brought us a cooler of bottled water-- they're on our side because they see that we don't break the law. They also see the writing on the wall and, like many other law enforcement agencies, do not want to be brought down with ICE.

BTW this is a (formerly) red voting area.

We got a lot of honks and waves from people driving past. One guy camped out in a penis replacement truck for a while bu totally failed to intimidate us. (They never learn!) Later a family came seeking help because the dad, who's been in the US without trouble for 25 years, got kidnapped this morning. We gave them a bunch of resources to help support him in "detention" and get legal help.
