1. The polls are that bad even in a previously safe red state.
2. The Republicans are having to spend millions shoring up what are supposed to be safe seats and can't spend their whole war chest on traditional swing states. Most "red" states are swing states at this point.
3. Abolish ICE is a majority opinion now, not just among Democrats.
