Bill Ward, the drummer? Well, where did you think he got that swing from? Massive student of the School of Count Basie.

And bear in mind, Sabbath started out as The Polka Tulk Blues Band.

Blues, jazz, swing, rock, soul, funk, hip-hop, lotsa stuff, there's divisions in the terms, but the boundaries of the terms are hazy.
