Europe: (builds fascism on the foundations of that colonial imperialism)

Europe: (pretending everything is totally post-fascist and post-colonial while systemically oppressing nation states they have oppressed all this time so they and even some of their former colonies like US, Canada, Australia et al can get cheap resources and manufacturing)

Europe and its allies: (refusing entry to refugees fleeing aforementioned oppressed nation-states while talking about 'guiding culture' and 'assimilation' and espousing eugenics, including malthusian thinking)

Europe and its allies: (sending in mercenaries and govt military forces the moment any historically oppressed nation's economy even looks like it's about to pick up, or form part of an economic bloc that could possibly rival its imperialist ambitions)

Europe and its allies: (enabling the shit out of colonial ideals and that of its hellspawn fascism within its own region on a daily basis, including the centrist takes such as "oh, I don't agree with the hard-right, but something must be done about the [insert marginalised demographic here]" and "Deary me, I don't think I trust those [insert marginalised demographic here]" and debating the 'civility' of thumping nazis* with a level of concern not shown enough to people actually oppressed by em)

Europe: "Golly gee, how'd this rise of the far right happen?"

Hint: it's not a bug. It's a feature.
