The ICE and Eurostar just don't quite match up. (Sorry!)

Now if I could get a shot at Gran Class on the Hikoriku Shinkansen or Frecciarossa Executive Class then there may be a need for scale recalibration

I can't recall if I mentioned, we have 3 baby seagulls that were nesting above the station exit near our lounge. One fell (or tried to fly, maybe) on to the glass roof at that entrance.

From seeing those little feet above me, I've kinda been invested in their wellbeing.

Then we got a second and they migrated to "ground level living" in the car park. And we gained a third fluffy, gray shouty puffball.

A few weeks later, boy have they grown!
I've seen two doing test flights but I dunno about the third.

Really proud of them and I'm going to be sad when they fly away

Climate change mitigation efforts and the transition away from fossil fuels aren't going to happen until the climate denialists and fossil fuel lobbyists are personally held responsible. With proper jail time.
Then, go after the fossil fuel company execs. Charge of ecocide on behalf of the next two or three generations.

Surely they should have standing since they'll have to live in the oncoming heatwaves, storms and other disasters?
