@pfefferle @fediversereport FWIW, I installed the plugin some time ago but can’t follow the blog from my Mastodon account. I just see an endless “pending” state.

EDIT: I tooted too soon. @blog still shows as pending (or “You requested to follow them”, depending on the Mastodon client I’m using).

I just now unfollowed @blog and then followed again. That seems to have worked!

Now we just need to get a new blog post published so it will show up as a post on Mastodon. 😀

This stuff is serious and should be taken seriously.

There was a counter-protest at Kitchener City Hall this morning (as there was in many cities) against hate groups and in support of trans and LGBTQ+ people. Naturally I biked there 😀

It looked like “our side” far outnumbered the hateful side. I’ll be curious to see reports on numbers.

Organizers had asked that people not take photos, for safety reasons. I asked a small number of peope if I could take photos pf their signs, though, as I wanted to share something here.

@evan @josephby Do you know if the number of Gmail users includes accounts that have a custom domain? That is, not a gmail.com email address, but using gmail as underlying service? Not sure how big a difference it would make anyway.
