@killyourfm That's how my bass drum looks now.

2€ granite tile, rubber mat (feet under the plate as well), all held together by extra strong double-sided tape, hasn't failed me yet.

It's very heavy, but after a year of fighting with a wandering bass drum I'd say definitely worth the effort.

@killyourfm I have that kit (to play Rockband 3 with) and I really like it :Blobhaj_Ani_Hophop:

It only has two problems:
- The bass drum needs some cinder blocks and a carpet underneath to stop it from moving around (I mounted it on a granite floor tile)
- The "thump" it produces can still be a bit loud depending on your building, a rubber mat for washing machines cut to size can help with that
