I have a pound of beyond beef. I don’t usually cook with it or with real ground beef - would love ideas of what would be a good way to use it.

extreme nerdy question: is there a good self-hosted bookmark manager for just me? I want tags. I can live with only saving things from my main computer.

in my imagination, it's basically a config file with url, title, tags, save_date on the "backend" and the frontend shows all bookmarks or lets me click on tags and intersections of tags.

i would love to have it be a few files (maybe one or more is javascript?) that live on my fastmail file server

ooooo, looking at my old online bookmarks, it appears that i used to be able to save things by faving them on twitter? (around 2015?) that would be awesome to have back for the fediverse.

I am hoping to go to at least some of #xoxofest this week - but I’m still sick with covid and i really have to work Friday. 😢

I’m technical but i have no interest in running any kind of server, which is why i have a hosted blog in the first place.

I do have a static page hosted by netlfiy, but someone walked me through it and i don’t understand it or what the limits are.

I’m willing to run some commands. But i do still want RSS and some inline images.

Specific advice very welcome - hosted blog alternatives, simple setups for hosting it somewhere at a low cost.

Also it’s really hard to just read a mastodon conversation with tons of people

I attend my local American Statistical Assoc meetings sometimes, but they are rare.

I also helped start an R User Group once, (but haven't used R in more than 10 years), and ran a Big Data reading group in #pdx
