So it finally happened. I broke my wrist. Hopefully surgery tonight to straighten it out and stick a plate in! Wear your wrist guards folks, even if just rolling through your house on skates!!!!!!

@roadriverrail Ideally I want to be good enough to just be able to toddle off on the skates anywhere I could walking (that is somewhat paved!). But I do want to go have some fun at a skate park some time.. got a lot of basics to cover long before then.

@roadriverrail Yeah, I'll be reading up on the techniques once I have the pads! And I'll hold off on the skating home from the station for a bit... that route is a little bit advanced for me it seems :)

@roadriverrail Just don't look at my knees.... no pads on there yet. BUT I do have some S1 knee pads ordered! Only injury tonight ended up being from falling over coming home, grazed my hip. Where there will not be anything more than clothing protecting me -_-
