I've had these cookbooks from my grandma for a couple of years and have been meaning to give them a closer look and find some recipes to try. Would anyone be interested if I documented on here?

Left book is from the mid 1910s and features a whopping 13 varieties of gingerbread recipe, the one on the right is from the mid 70s and has something called Creamed Oysters in Pepper Cases which I am scared to learn more about

The recipe for fondant is wild they're like "if sugar gets on the side of the pot above the boiling hot mixture just brush it off with wet fingers it won't burn you if you're quick enough"

Me seeing trans women joke about Evangelion: Hmm I guess I just missed that boat

Also me when I was like 12: Wow this mech show about a kid who has to make a terrible choice sure makes me feel lots of feelings, too bad I don't know what it's called

It's weird to think just over a year ago I would basically never take a selfie and now here I am exhausted and dehydrated from the flu looking for an angle that will make my disheveled hair look more sultry.
