@LivingCooki I was so confused by some of the replies in the thread, until I realized that the subterfuge here is that the original message shows the viewers instance name rather than a constant string with the name of a specific instance.

If I knew of a tech friend looking for an instance to join, I would indeed recommend the one I'm on, but I don't know of any who are looking for a new (to them) social network to join.

@erictopol Am I correct in taking this to mean that it's never too late to get vaccinated, because even if someone puts off getting vaccinated until after getting infected, it still boosts their chance of surviving? [Edited to change "I'm" to "Am" as the first word.]

@Jyoti While Onan spilling his seed upon the ground is likely a fairly accurate translation from the original, it obviously refers to pulling out, not masturbating in front of his brother's widow.
