Can anyone recommend an adult-friendly newsletter/mailing list platform?

Things I've tried:
1. Sendgrid (not adult friendly, didn't support https links, I got sick of sending out error-flagged links and didn't want to risk contacting support)
2. Self-hosting on Wordpress with Newsletter plugin (huge domain deliverability issues resulting in my IP being blocked as a spam sender by Microsoft, Apple, etc)
3. Mailjet (claim to be adult friendly but suspended my account without explanation)

I'm complying with the regulations laid out in the OSA, but I'm doing it in a way that aligns with my values - and with the values of my customers - as much as possible. #onlinesafetyact #porncensorship

I'm already hosted outside the UK! As it happens, the OSA applies to any site accessible within the UK. I certainly don't intend to comply until I'm asked to, but I need to be able to comply when I'm asked to in order to avoid a fine, and that means preparing in advance.

The main problem with any AV solution is auditing the code. Even if they claim they're secure and privacy respecting, how do we know that the design and the implementation actually do what they claim? Auditing proprietary code is a total faff.

But this is open source. Very easy to have a look! I've already cloned it on GitHub. It's written in node.js, so to have a proper look at it and understand what it does and how I'll need someone fluent in JavaScript...

And if it doesn't pass muster, it's open source, so we could potentially modify it until it did what we needed.

It's published under AGPL 3.0, so any modifications would need to be made publicly available. Which is great actually!

I want to crowd-source a team of people who can make this happen. This could be exactly what's needed to allow small sites to comply with the OSA without screwing over our users.

Mandatory age verification for accessing adult content will come with a cost, not just financially but also in terms of your privacy. 🚫🔞

Well, the majority of my survey respondents so far have answered that they'd never be willing to use an age verification service.

This might be the thing that kills my small business.

Two reasons #Patreon flagging my academic writing as "sexually gratifying" is annoying:

1. it means I can't keep the post public, which limits my reach for the advocacy and educational work I'm trying to do

2. having a flag on my account significantly reduces my chances of getting my page recategorised as 'safe for all audiences', which I do want: journalistic, political & educational writing is NOT porn, and being marked as porn hides my page from search and makes it harder to find.

Is anyone on here able to give me advice about appealing my #YouTube ban? After trying to appeal the deletion of my #kink education channel last Sept and not hearing anything back, I'm now being shown a new web form for submitting an appeal and am minded to try again.
