This is just a blank calendar, but it's velvety and shiny and it makes taking notes more fun. This morning I found it lying between my props from last night as the sun shone down on it. It's afternoon now and I'm indeed having a lively magical day and looking at this little sign now makes me happy. Getting a bit woo-woo today, but I guess nothing wrong with some innocent woo-woo here and there.

@liztai I delete the apps from my phone to disrupt the automations. Some of it I will need sooner or later for communication, work, etc but the habit can be broken up. I may check IG on my phone now but after I had deleted it everywhere I didn’t put it back on my tablet. I have it on my phone again, but use it less. Haven’t had FB and others on my phone for ages.

For a moment I regretted not bringing my camera to the hike today, but then I listened to the wind in the trees and breathed in that fresh cold air and that was really enough. Iphones take alright landscape shots too.

The world becomes a little smaller in winter to me. The outside feels less inviting, making cultivation of the inside more vital. I hadn't taken too much care of my little plants during the year - they were thriving on their own. But now that life is a little quieter for the season, I find myself observing them more again. I'm still learning how to best take care of them as the seasons change, windows close and radiators change the air quality.

My chocolate mint looked dead, but I discovered tiny baby leaves growing. Taking extra good care of this one now.

And yes, in case you've never heard of chocolate mint (the plant), it literally smells like After Eight.
