For anyone thinking of leaving the country, there are authoritarian parties and movements on the rise in every democracy around the world.

If you are in a blue city in a blue state in the U.S., you are probably in the safest place you can be at the moment, so you may as well stay and fight right where you are.

It feels like collectively we failed the 1933 Germany test.

- Racism and misogyny were nor disqualifying
- Attempting a coup and stealing top national security secrets were not disqualifying
- being found liable for fraud and rape were not disqualifying
- the pledges to be a “Dictator on Day One”, build “camps”, and the NAZI admiration were not disqualifying

Trump and his fascist henchmen don’t “disappoint” me because we know who they are.

I grieve at seeing the country as it really is.

Judge Marchan should still sentence Trump to prison.

I understand that he won’t serve a day in prison now, but at least the rule of law will be upheld.

A short list including people President Biden should fully pardon among others:
- Himself
- Kamala Harris
- Barack & Michelle Obama
- Hillary Clinton
- Adam Schiff
- Liz Cheney
- Adam Kinzinger
- Jamie Raskin
- John Kelly

They haven’t done anything wrong, of course, but protect them in advance.

Divine knew even then.

Vote Harris, because Divine would.

If the bottom is indeed falling out from the Trump campaign, the real tossup states on Tuesday night will be Iowa, Kansas, Ohio, Alaska, Florida, Texas, and…

Keep calling, texting, door knocking, and turning out voters in every state.

The news media isn't asking enough questions about Donald Trump's and Elon Musk's plans to crash the economy (to replace the US dollar with cryptocurrency as the default).

This is why Musk got the money from authoritarian regimes to buy and destroy Twitter and turn it into a Trump-assisting platform.

They plan to make you and your family go through "temporary hardship" to enhance their wealth and power.

The only thing Jeff Bezos‘ editorial in the Washington Post convinced me is that we need a steep wealth tax and that the existence of billionaires is a public policy failure.

It was revealed that House Speaker Mike Johnson doesn’t have a bank account.

So the “secret” he has with Trump is “who” is cashing his government paycheck and “how” are his bills getting paid.

Vote Democratic so that when they are in majority, Trump and Johnson’s “secret” will be when they flee the country like any other criminals.

The Los Angeles Times has been a good newspaper, and Amazon Prime is extremely convenient.

But democracy comes first.

Bye bye to both subscriptions.

Toxic billionaires have sided with Trump’s fascism and Project 2025 this election.

However, they only have the power that we give them and allow them.

Take back your your power by voting for Harris/Walz.

One thing that has has angered me most about the post-“debate” maelstrom is revealing just how much influence superwealthy donors have not only in the Republican Party but the Democratic Parry too.

Money is not “speech” and we shouldn’t be governed under “one dollar, one vote.”

To save our democracy we not only need Supreme Court reform, we need campaign finance reform too.

I'm not planning to leave, but with the Supreme Court authorizing a Trump dictatorship should he return, I've never had more thoughts like, "If I had to flee the country, where could I go and take my pets with me" than I've had now.
