Being afraid of the USA is nothing new to many of us who live here.

If you're waiting to be old so you will no longer be awkward, I have bad news.

Many years ago I got healthcare in Australia. Afterwards I went to the counter with my wallet. They cringed, looked at me with the most intense pity and said there was no charge. I burst out crying and they hugged me. Similar thing happened in England a few years later.
