Seriously, !SoCal school districts need to wait until temperatures drop before putting kids into under-ventilated classrooms. In many cases, schools are using portables, which have only two temperatures: too hot and too cold.

Seeing that schools' jobs is to work on behalf of students and for their benefit, I think this is a built in conflict of interest. It also encourages using "the stick" against difficult students rather than "the carrot".
