One 100-word email generated by an AI chatbot using GPT-4 uses 519 milliliters of water on average - that’s a bit more than a water bottle (17.5 oz).

I love how there's this massively collective misunderstanding on how AI/Machine Learning actually works and most of everyone is just running around going "yep, these things are supposed to know factual information and spit it out when prompted"

It doesn't know anything.
If you ask it to know something and get false information, then you've used it incorrectly and achieved the expected result when doing so.
