Kit Rhett Aultman@lennby I keep an older phone on LineageOS with no Google apps. I have email accounts through my web hosting company of many years (plus one from SDF), and calendar sync and other productivity stuff through a Nextcloud instance. It all works pretty well.
Really the only thing FOSS phone ecosystems don't have sorted is maps and navigation. That's kinda in a "you can, but it's janky" level.
