@srfirehorseart Some "streets" are barely wide enough for one (skinny) person, and the buildings on either end are three stories high --somewhat claustrophobic.
Once in a while, an alleyway will open into a small square with a random church, but there's nothing even remotely like a thoroughfare. Well, apart from the Grand Canal.
I really think this is what Paris was like before they tore it all down to build the big avenues.
