I refuse point blank to use apps that I believe are harmful to me and to society as a whole. Whenever they ask me to, I'm happy to explain why I won't in great detail, until they give up.

Anyone who really cares about me, or wants to work with me, will hear me out and use communication channels I'm comfortable with. If they'd rather cut contact, their loss.
