@nmeum @khm Yeah switching to chimerautils would make more sense than switching to toybox to me.

Although it ends up at 2.9MB installed which is roughly 3× the size of busybox. And grabbing BSD utilities means you'll end up with various incompatibilities with code assuming GNU extensions are present, the only thing left is coreutils…
