@bomkatt @inarticulatequilter it depends on whether you need an excuse to avoid buying a sewing machine because you're not ready for other reasons, that's a pretty valid excuse :)

otherwise, many entry level sewing machines are lightweight enough that moving them in and out of a cupboard isn't a big deal
