Brett Sheffield (he/him)At this point, a white Citroen van came by. This is an old farming couple and their two dogs. They are almost always together, and they have two German Shepherds who start barking excitedly as soon as they see us.
Little dog was off. Jumping up on the side of the van as it drove slowly by, barking and chasing along the road. They waved a stick out the window to discourage it, but it kept jumping up and chasing.
So we waved goodbye to our canine friend and went home. I'm sure he'll be back.
