@Datterich @Tendar Yi Peng 3 is 225m in length. While dealing with a vessel this size and displacement at sea, 1km is basically "literally next to it" for all intents and purposes.

If I were sailing and saw that AIS data suggests I am going to pass 1km away from such a vessel, I would make sure to put more distance between me and it.
