@JessTheUnstill @sleepybisexual @username I'm old enough to remember when ~500k was a full quality digital camera capture and ~100-200k was fine for a reduced version. There is no reason for *inline* illustrations in articles to be any larger than this. You can click to get the full-res if you want. But now it's not even the images that are the bulk. It's 10MB of garbage compiled and minified output of javascript frameworks.
