@artemist you can also do what I did: edit the rent amount and send it back. they had only informed me of the amount by phone, and then posted the contract to me, so there was no written record of me ever agreeing to a higher amount. they signed it without reading and I got half the rental increase. on my second payment of the new amount they called and said I was behind on rent, so I said "uh no I don't remember that being the amount, I paid the amount in the contract?"
