Agree, what I was talking about was mostly referring to helping the wife if she's busy with something else at the moment. For example I remember seeing a TikTok of a woman asking her husband to look after the pan in the kitchen because the kid started crying, and the father refused to both comfort the kid and look after the pan, telling her that she could just turn off the pan and finish cooking later (= wasting precious time that she could have used to relax a bit).
