Kit Rhett Aultman@WrenArcher When I started to present as femme, I seriously did not, for the life of me, understand why people so suddenly felt the need to help me with my groceries or lifting heavy things. It wasn't until I was buying ice for a party and the woman across from me at the checkout counter boggled as I lifted a 40 lb bag in each hand that that it dawned on me that she believed I was a woman.
