@lookitmychicken I have no idea why/how this works, but when I find myself tipping into "I can't do anything, and I should be doing things, and I hate myself, and I hate everything, and 😡 😭" mode, eating something protein-rich helps me feel more stabilised and less like I'm flying out of control into rage and tears and can't-do-things-uselessness. Carbs and veggies don't cut it, it needs to be protein. It doesn't necessarily transform me into a super-productive member of society, but it helps me feel less crap and more like a person. I have no idea if that will help you, but you could try it?
