@PurpCat @nyx Kaczynski sums it all up pretty well. He didn't use the words "safe edgy" obviously but that's precisely what he was describing when he talks about college educated leftisis attempting to be rebellious.

I think they understand this at some level but go to great lengths to never acknowledge it, even to themselves.
