clacke@geerlingguy @brion @mattl @brainwane Keeping videos as living documentation sounds awful, but for announcements that are well understood to be anchored at a specific point in time they should work well.
I haven't published any video, but a bit of audio is already a fair amount of work. On the other hand most of the work is the script and that script can turn into a very good blog post that also functions as show notes.
