pettter@Tak that's true, though I don't think the concept of fines leading to lack of food (or maybe even lack of food being a thing at all) even registers as a possibility for most lawmakers. Just eat less avocado toast etc.
There's been some famous instances of Finnish rich people paying millions of euros for speeding though which is at least very funny.
