@bot @verita84 @get becasue "ooo shiny" Pleroma, and I believe Mastodon too, where originally just pretty front ends for GNU social, and they eventually just split. I would guess mostly over the politics of the GNU project. Just like "Apple is better than Android because it has fewer features" the same is true of Pleroma and Mastodon. @lain I'm sure can verify how much, if any, of what I said is true.
