@icing If you took someone who works for NASA and quizzed them on how to do my job, with no training, 95% wouldn't be able to do what I do. It's not a very good way of evaluating people's capabilities.
This time last year I coded a star chart as a side project. Ever since it has accurately shown me the positions of the sun and planets (see attached). I don't remember the calculations off the top of my head; if I need to, I'll figure them out again.
