@SuperDicq I think it's just a loud minority that get triggered over every word available in the English DICKtionary anyway that find "nigger" to be offensive.
I know black people in real life, and none of them mind the word at all.
One of them even proudly calls himself a nigger.
Or we could just call them 黒人, and then the same people will complain about that, and we'll need to find a new word again, which will make them complain again, to the point you ban the entire DICKtionary.

So whether it matters or not, I believe it shouldn't be allowed either way.
Now they censor something you want to see censored or don't mind it being censored, but at some point the censors will come for what you don't want to see censored, and nobody who previously got hit will come to the rescue after you basically threw them under the bus before that.
Censorship always starts with what most people don't mind, and grows from there.
But the moment you allow it to happen, it's already too late to stop it.
