@alexm So, you probably still have this conception from centralized social networks that the engagement numbers you see are absolute. It isn’t the case in a decentralized social network. Someone could also have favorited the post from another instance but you wouldn’t know about it from your own.

Bottom line is that you should do what feels right to you, disregarding any external metrics because you have a very partial view of the network. The only thing you can be sure about is how you feel about a certain post, so smash that favorite button when you feel like it!
