CharnockBokmania had begun! The world was suddenly all about stone gargoyles dealing with strange plots. It was a type of progressive rock storytelling and had a funky upbeat theme music to match. Possibly @BigJackBrass remembers it. When the first episode of Bok hit the screen and the viewing audience were introduced to the vortex effect and the catchphrase of "Was that Gargoyle there ten minutes ago?" they went wild. Children were literally standing in the street with their mouths open to catch rain
