As a recent fan of Ryan Hall Y’all's tornado coverage, I was pleased to see a meteorologist and fellow science communicator liked his coverage, too.

“I watched a recording of Ryan’s livestream from Friday night. What it wasn’t? Bombastic, loud, over the top. What it was? Empathetic, informative, useful.”

“And while there may be diverging opinions in the field of meteorology about his work, from my vantage point it seems it’s working, it’s working well, and I can’t find much of anything to be upset about here. And he’s reaching a metric ton of people in the process. Is that not what we want?”
