I mean, not to put too fine a point on things, but given the way hiring is these days, what do you expect?
90% of job listings aren't real. Of those, the remainder are asking for massive qualifications for shit pay; half the HR departments are ai slop; and if you -do- get through to an actual interview, then you're like as not going to be expected to do either bullshit "coding exercises" that have zero bearing on anything either taught or industry, or you're going to be doing free work for them.
Who in the hell is going to bother expending actual effort in an environment like this? Why would you expect respect from them when the industry gives no respect to job applicants?
