@pathfinder Sounds like something out of mein Kamph thing.

I read somewhere that in his book is a need to create/invent two enemies to keep a country under control, to help the citizens give/keep allegiance to their leaders... an enemy within, and enemy outside.

this idea (I paraphrased) comes out of Hitler's book. I'm sensing Trump is doing the same. enemies outside being non american, enemies within would be non-citizens.
