Heat pumps are... fine. If #degrowth requires us to stop using heat pumps, since we can't get the fancy steel, plastic and electronics anymore, you might be wearing warmer clothing, and building smaller houses, with wood stoves. Or moving south. What I'd say is heat pumps aren't important. Stop the insane overconsumption/overproduction, whether or not it impacts our heat pumpage.
