- Embed this notice@lanodan @david @hj the biggest difference between void and gentoo (and really most other distributions) is that gentoo is literally the single distro that can track dynamic libraries and will not remove them if something depends on the shlib from the old version even if the library is updated, AND it will tell you that you should rebuild packages that depend on it, AND it will create a set for you so you can just run one command to do it............... xbps-src will just happily break packages, as will all other distributions whenever you do a "partial upgrade". i am so pissed by this i really just do not want to use any other distro than gentoo in any serious way because of it
