@HebrideanHecate @Ladyfat I once worked with a young woman who was a lesbian. I think she was upset that I didn't mention it or show any problems about it (she was that type of attention seeker) and one day she started to tell me why she was a lesbian. I stopped her and told her that she didn't need to explain or justify it because it just was. I think that upset her even more.
A few days later there was a complaint made against me that I was overheard making transphobic and homophobic comments (I wonder where that came from). I left a few weeks later, but not before I had reminded the boss about article 10 rights to free speech.
