My timeline of knowing about Reddit was "Oh, it's like a worse version of Digg by that guy that never shuts up" and then it was a thing that HN was worried it would become and then I heard that it was ground zero for fedora atheism and motherfuckers kept showing up and saying "narwhal bacon" everywhere and then...then I heard that Ellen Pao came in and just started taking shits without breaking eye contact with any of the fedora people just because a private equity firm told her to and she got addicted to the rush.
