- Embed this noticeJacked up the WRX onto four stands this morning and replaced the trans/front/center-diff oil (all combined on Subarus) and the rear diff oil.
Getting those rear diff plugs out was a bitch; had to use PB spray, a breaker bar, a special ordered 13mm square bit and a heat gun! Last time I changed both was 29k miles .. and honestly it looked barely used pouring out. At 140k miles now and I don't think I'm going to do that again until 200k.
Also did the engine oil/filter while it was up on stands, but it seems like I did that ~4k miles ago .. so that was kinda a waste. But at least it's all done.
