Hardware is 10x faster than it was in 2014
Games do not look anywhere near 10x better and in many cases they look worse.
Hitting 60 fps without framegen (didn't even exist then) was common and usually the target for most PC systems.
Now $2,000 graphics cards struggle to run games at 40 fps consistently
